about me

As technology becomes more important to our daily lives and companies around the globe, successful programmers will be defined by their ability to comprehend the role of the code they write in the lives of the people that use it.

My strengths go beyond implementing technologies. I aim to create simple, practical, and beautiful solutions that satisfy real needs. I believe I possess the required interpersonal skills, programming prowess, vision and intuition to lead the next generation of programmers forward.

experience

WEB DEVELOPER, FOSTER WEB MARKETING (JUNE 2010 - PRESENT)

Primary duties are development and maintenance of our proprietary content management system (CMS). Other duties include API integration, front-end website development, and AJAX interface development. Recent projects include:

  • Creating a Competitive Analysis application which lets our clients compare themselves with their competitors to discover what further improvements they can make to their site.
  • Working on a complete overhaul of the CMS interface to utilize HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and jQuery. This update also included a great deal of code standardization and accessibility enhancements.
  • Developing a ColdFusion interface for the Google Analytics API and integrating it with the CMS. This allows client to monitor their content without ever having to leave the application.
INTERN, KATINAS BRUCKWICK ARCHITECTURE (SUMMER 2008)

Duties often varied but focused on three major things: computer modeling, building permit completion, and on site data collection. Google SketchUp was used to make 3D models out of AutoCAD blueprints. I also filled out, filed, and submitted building permits for various commercial and residential projects. Finally, I joined senior workers on location to collect measurements and compare current blueprints.
